Essential Floristry - One Week Workshop
Monday - Friday
10am-4pm with one hour break
Learn the essentials of floristry from the masters at Moyses Stevens. Perfect for aspiring florists and flower enthusiasts! Be prepared to be completely immersed in a world of flowers and to learn multiple different aspects of professional floristry. Each class will start with an in-depth introduction from your skilled tutor regarding the task you will be completing that day. Then you are then taught the basics of flower conditioning, the different types of flowers that will be used, the seasonal availability and the sustainable aspects of the mechanics you’ll be using. You will be working with a mix of elegant fresh flowers and rustic-inspired dried flowers to create each masterpiece. During your 5 days, you’ll be introduced to the classic Moyses Stevens’ style bouquet, the wonders of event and corporate designs, the art of wedding floristry, the beauty of seasonal and sustainable wreaths before finally constructing an extravagant large-scale design under the supervision of the talented florists at the school. What’s included
Everything you need on the day
Every workshop is built so you can turn up empty-handed and leave with a finished design. We provide all the flowers and foliage chosen that morning from our delivery, all the tools you need at your station, an apron to keep your clothes clean, and refreshments to keep the room sociable while you work.
Class sizes are deliberately small so the tutor can spend real one-to-one time with each person. We cover the basics of flower choice, conditioning and structure before building up to the design itself, and finish with photography and a flower-care card so you can keep your piece at its best at home.

Classes are taught at our Dubai atelier — a working florist space rather than a classroom, so you learn the way our florists actually work. The full address and directions are sent with your booking confirmation, and classes run in small groups so everyone gets hands-on time.
