Question 1

When is hydrangea in season?

Accepted Answer

Hydrangea peaks through the warmer months. Outside that window we source from growers internationally, so the collection is available year-round with slight variation in stem availability by month.

Question 2

What colours do hydrangea come in?

Accepted Answer

Hydrangea come in blue, pink, white, green and lilac, with tones shifting through the season. Available colours are shown on each product.

Question 3

How long do hydrangea last in a vase?

Accepted Answer

With care, hydrangea last around five to seven days. They drink through their petals as well as their stems, so mist the heads, keep the water topped up, and if a head wilts, submerge it in cool water for 30 minutes to revive it.

Question 4

Why are hydrangea so big?

Accepted Answer

Each hydrangea head is a cluster of many small flowers, which gives the bloom its full, voluminous look and makes even a few stems feel generous and statement-making.

Question 5

Can I get a single-variety hydrangea bouquet?

Accepted Answer

Yes — we create hydrangea-only arrangements as well as mixed bouquets where hydrangea lead alongside seasonal blooms. Ask our team if you’d like an all-hydrangea design.

Question 6

Do hydrangea suit funerals and condolences?

Accepted Answer

Yes — their soft, elegant blooms make hydrangea a fitting choice for sympathy and condolence flowers. Our florists can design an appropriately restrained arrangement on request.

Question 7

Are hydrangea pet-safe?

Accepted Answer

Hydrangea are mildly toxic to cats and dogs if ingested, so it’s best to keep arrangements out of a pet’s reach. If your recipient has pets, ask us to recommend a pet-friendly alternative.
